This is an awesome app for the iPhone which lets you make simple beat tunes, and this guy demonstrates it superbly. I hate iPhones, but this rocks bells.
Poetry, not usually my strong point, was thrust into my ears today. The revelation: it can be quite amusing (when this guy does it, at any rate)! No visuals with the video sadly, but it’s definitely worth investing 9 minutes into.
A rather cool little (well, 18 minute) documentary on the history of a 6 second segment of music which has influenced/inspired much over the last 40 years.

In minor-but-quite-excellent news, I’ve moved the blag (and all associated bamf) to a new host, namely Vidahost, who if memory serves are run by a guy from OcUK. Stuff is loading about 30% faster than even when my old host was having a good day, so on average load times have probably halved, and that.
Vidahost themselves have been ace, their support staff have helped a lot, and promptly too, so it’s all good, son.
Hoorah!
To celebrate, I’ve shafted an image of my wheels onto the title, and rejigged it a bit. Heavy.
So, in “oh fuck I’m actually posting about Me and not about Something Amusing”-style news, I’ve decided Twitter might be fun to actually investigate.
To this end I’ve discovered a good Twitter tutorial on some guy’s blag which goes into detail of all the funny customs associated with the place. Funny customs, because there aren’t that many actual features other than @name to reply, so the rest of the things that people do to enhance its functionality have just evolved from the userbase, which is kinda funky.
